Yealink MVC-BYOD-Extender USB BYOD Adapter for Teams Rooms
Yealink MVC-BYOD-Extender, USB BYOD Adapter, Connects to MTouch Console, Bridges UVC Cameras & Mics to Laptops.
The Yealink MVC-BYOD-Extender is an ultra-compact USB adapter that connects directly into the VCH port of an MTouch touch console, allowing users to plug a single USB-A cable into their personal laptop to take over the room's enterprise PTZ cameras, microphones, and speakers for non-Teams meetings.
Product Overview
Organizations with certified Microsoft Teams Rooms often need to support occasional Zoom, Webex, or Google Meet calls. The MVC-BYOD-Extender provides this flexibility with minimal hardware. Plugging directly into the existing MTouch console on the conference table, it requires no extra cabling running to the front-of-room mini-PC. When a visiting presenter connects the attached 1.5-meter USB cable to their laptop, the Yealink room system automatically switches video and audio routing, presenting the room's high-end UVC camera and VCM microphones as a standard USB webcam to the laptop.
