The Matrix ETERNITY GENX12SPSBB combines the modular flexibility of a 12-slot enterprise IP-PBX with an integrated battery backup management system. Designed for facilities susceptible to frequent power outages or unconditioned grid power, this model features built-in charger circuitry that connects directly to an external 48V DC battery bank. When AC mains power is stable, the internal power supply runs the PBX while float-charging the connected battery bank. If grid power fails, the system switches instantly to battery power without restarting or dropping active phone calls. Equipped with 12 universal expansion slots, it supports up to 999 IP users, 99 SIP trunks, and up to 240 physical extension lines.
